GEFA - Lead Service Line Replacement Funding

Lead Service Line Financing Designed to meet Your Compliance Needs! The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will provide GEFA's water resource division with $66.8 million per year in funding over the next five years. The funding is dedicated to helping communities and local authorities complete lead service line inventory projects and lead service line replacement projects.
How it works: To be eligible for potential funds, please submit a request for interest pre-application via GEFA's website by Friday 14, 2023 at 5:00PM. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law requires 49% of the lead service line funding be provided as grants and loans with prinicipal forgiveness to disadvantaged communities that meet the states affordability cirteria.
